I would like to express my most sincere thanks for the way you hosted Emily and Andy’s wedding on 7th August 2009.
The setting at Moor Allerton is superb and the facilities very impressive. However, all that would be to no avail if not for the very efficient, friendly hospitality we enjoyed. Your staff were obviously well trained and selected and taught that ‘nothing is too much trouble’. The room itself looked magnificent and the tables beautifully prepared and set out. My special requests in particular with the surprises we had arranged for the newly wed couple and my younger daughter’s very special dietary requirements were noted and actioned. As Andy, quite rightly, noted in his speech, once we were in your hands at the beginning of the preparations we all felt that we had nothing more to worry about concerning the reception. This was a big weight off our shoulders when there is so much to organise and arrange.
The food was absolutely lovely and please say a big thank you to all your staff on duty that day. They were welcoming and attentive without being intrusive.
Finally to yourself. A man in charge of his ‘kingdom’! You orchestrated the whole event perfectly and were totally in charge and on top of it at all times. I cannot thank you enough for your contribution to a most important day in my daughter’s life. Thank you, Simon and if you are ever in Littlestone please do come and see me.
I would not hesitate to recommend Moor Allerton to anyone wanting to host an important event in their lives.

As a training business, my company relies on providing a suitable venue for delegates to feel comfortable in a learning environment.
The recent two-day training courses that we held at Moor Allerton Golf Club for 15 delegates were a great success. The organisation, meeting facilities, catering, attentiveness of the staff and friendly environment provided an excellent venue for these workshops. We asked delegates for written feedback at the end of the course and on average they graded the facilities as “Very Good”, with some additional positive comments.
Hotels can be expensive and impersonal and training at customers premises is often difficult due to distractions and interruptions. Moor Allerton Golf Club provides an excellent and cost effective alternative and I look forward to holding many other events with you.

Just a quick note to thank you for the smooth
running of my society day last Friday. For many it was the first visit to Moor Allerton and no-one left disappointed. The course, despite the poor weather recently had held up really well. Your greens staff are to be applauded.
Compliments as well to your Chef Steve for the superb meal he cooked up for us, excellent value for money.
All in all, we had a really good day, I'm hoping to bring the boys back next Spring/Summer when the course is at its peak.

I am a member of Formby GC. Myself and a group of friends played your course on the 1st August after an absolute deluge the previous 24 hours.
I would like to congratulate the course management and groundstaff for presenting the course in such a great condition given the inclement weather. Please pass on our thanks. We were very lucky with the weather on the day.
Rarely can you find a course turned out so well and cut to perfection. A real challenge of golf and we had a very enjoyable day.
