Join one of the best golf courses in Yorkshire

Playing on one of the finest golf courses in Yorkshire (and the UK) is obviously a major benefit of becoming a member at Moor Allerton Golf Club. But, what you may not realise is that, because the club has 27 holes and a relatively small membership compared to other golf clubs in the Leeds and Bradford area, members can usually play any day without prior booking. This is virtually impossible at most golf clubs, but our three loops of nine holes, all returning to the clubhouse, means that there’s always plenty of flexibility to get a few games of golf in.

 

What’s more, all members who pay in full are entitled to share in the reciprocal arrangements we have with 15 other golf courses throughout the country, so you always get the most from your membership.

We have a variety of membership options available to suit anyone who enjoys golf.  We operate a full equality policy and are an open and inclusive golf club, plus we’ll make sure you have as much contact with other members as you wish, so that you can quickly join in the fun.

Junior Golf Membership

Moor Allerton Golf Club is dedicated to the development of the sport in Leeds. That’s why we’ve made it a great place for junior golfers to develop their love of golf. The professional team runs free group golf tuition on a monthly basis. 'The Elite Squad' (open to all juniors) are given specialist coaching so, it’s no wonder our junior team went on to win the Leeds and District Junior Golf League, Division 4 in 2010 and promotion to Division 3. 

 

Juniors aged 6 and upwards are able to attend a 'Young Master Golf Academy' which takes place on selected weekday evenings and weekend mornings. They develop the player in measured, incremental steps where they can really see personal progress. Please e-mail james.whitaker@magc.co.ukfor more details.

 

The course is a testing challenge for even the best of golfers. But we have designed an academy course for younger players to fully participate in the golfing experience.
