The Course

"Moor Allerton Golf Club - A larger than life golfing experience” Peter Alliss

Moor Allerton Golf Club is one of the first UK golf courses to be designed by the famous American golf architect Robert Trent Jones. His others include Spyglass Hill, Hazeltine and Sotogrande. Featuring his trademark shallow bunkers, huge teeing grounds, lakes and large contoured greens, Moor Allerton is typical of Trent Jones’s work. And, with three loops of nine holes that all start and finish at the Clubhouse, enjoying this stunning Leeds-based golf course couldn’t be easier.

‘The Lakes’, ‘Blackmoor’ and ‘High’ are our three courses and are all designed, whichever combination of 18 holes is played, to provide a challenging and enjoyable game for both the scratch golfer or the beginner. Our beautiful Yorkshire golf course would typically stretch between 6,470 and 6,841 yards, with SSS of 73-74. However, depending on which tees are used, the golf course can be altered to between 5,940 and 6,841 yards.

Scorecards for the The Course

There are three combinations you can play, each made up of two loops of nine holes, each loop with a stroke index of 1 to 9. The three scorecards show these different ways of playing our 27 hole course.

The Lakes - Holes 1-9 and 10-18

Blackmoor - Holes 10-18 and 19-27

High - Holes 19-27 and 1-9
